  • Cardiovascular / Respiratory Endurance [Oxygen Delivery] - how efficiently your body takes in and transports oxygen and nutrients to, and removes waste from muscle.  A healthy cardio-respiratory system significantly reduces the risk of cardiovascular related disease

  • Muscular Strength [Force Exertion] - the maximum amount of force a muscle can produce in a single effort.  Performing exercises that use your own body weight and/or free weights are excellent ways to develop muscle strength

  • Muscular Endurance / Stamina [Energy Utilization] - ability of the muscles to perform for extended periods without excessive fatigue

  • Flexibility [Range of Motion] - the ability of your muscles and joints to move through their full range of motion.  Maintaining flexibility can improve your performance in physical activities in addition to decreasing your risk of injuries

  • Body composition - the ratio of water, bone, lean muscle and fat in the body. A healthy body composition reduces the risk of developing obesity-related diseases, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and even some cancers

  • Agility [Movement control] - the ability of the body to change direction quickly, effectively and under control

  • Balance [ Body control] - the ability to maintain an upright posture either while stationary or moving

  • Power [Explosiveness] - the ability to apply strength at an explosive pace

  • Speed [Time minimization]- the ability to move quickly from one place to another

  • Coordination [Movement integration] - the integration of hand and foot movements with the input of the senses

  • Accuracy [Movement precision] - the ability to control movement in a given direction or at a given intensity
