13 October - 4 Weeks

Join us Tuesday's and Thursday's 6-7pm, commencing 13 October for 4 weeks (8 sessions).  The program can be run outside (weather permitting).  If indoors, we have a large dedicated facility.

The program is $125.  Whilst we've made this affordable, should you decide to become a member post course, that fee is deducted from your membership dues so the course would be complimentary.

Program Outline

The purpose of this program is to provide an introduction to kettlebell (KB) exercises as a new implement to incorporate into regular exercise programming. Over the course of 4 weeks, attendees will learn and become proficient in several staple movements:

  • Swing

  • Deadlift

  • Clean

  • Overhead Pressing

  • Lunge

  • Squat

  • Turkish Get-up (TGU)

  • Deck Squat

  • Windmill

  • Row

  • and more...

These foundational movements are key to understanding KB dynamics and body movements accompanied with them. In addition, proficiency in these movements will aid development in additional KB exercises (snatch, single-arm swing, loaded carries etc) which provide more challenge to traditional KB movements.

At the end of the course, participants should be able to demonstrate a proficient level of skill with KB and will be able to complete a ‘KB Complex’ workout, which links exercises back to back.

Workouts will be structured to provide warm-up, skill work, skill execution and circuit training.
