Workshop: Introduction to [Functional] Movement Training
Human movement is comprised of certain fundamental and functional movements, e.g. picking up a child from the ground. Join us for this 90 minute workshop to understand and practice those essential patterns and learn how to build correct movement and athletic patterns from the ground up. If you want to develop strength, build muscle, lose body fat and guard yourself against pain and injury, then this workshop is essential for you.
In addition to brief explanations for each of the key movements, participants will engage in a series of drills and exercises to train those movement patterns. You will also receive a template to create your own full body workout using the knowledge learned. Participants are encouraged to socialize after as refreshments will be provided.
