Sunday 14 April 9am.  Suitable for all age and experience levels. 

Over the past 2 years, interest in, and the number of practitioners doing handstands has really taken off globally.  For those unaware, handstand practice builds strength, endurance, body awareness and control, balance, coordination and more.  See our blog article for just some of the health benefits of inversions!

There are a myriad of health, fitness, strength, posture and more benefits of this type of training not to mention its a lot of fun.

Join us for this workshop where we will introduce you to all the essential elements of hand balancing.  

The workshop will cover:

  • Assessment

  • Wrist and forearm conditioning

  • Shoulder, thoracic spine, pike and straddle flexibility

  • Body Alignment

  • Compression

  • Handstand Entry - Kicking up

  • Handstand Exit - Pirouetting

  • Conditioning Drills & General Physical Preparedness

  • Beginning to Balance / Re-balance 

  • Programming
