Pole Installation – Member Information & Usage Guidelines
We now have a professional-grade pole installed in the studio.

Pole training is a highly effective full-body discipline that combines strength, mobility, coordination, and body awareness. This is a specialist training discipline and joins our Handstand, Animal Flow and Acro Yoga practice in that regard.

The pole has primarily been installed to support personal training sessions and specific skill development work. It is a specialized piece of equipment that requires proper use, care, and supervision.

Please take note of the following guidelines:

1. Personal Training Use Only
The pole is not available for general member use during open gym, classes, or independent training sessions.
Pole activities may only be performed under the supervision of a qualified coach during a scheduled personal training session (see more below for how to access).
2. Safety First
Pole training involves balance, coordination, grip strength, and inverted positions. For safety reasons:
-
A coach must be present when using the pole.
-
Spotting may be required for certain movements and progressions.
-
Members should not attempt new skills independently.
-
Please respect any coaching instructions regarding progression and safety.

3. No Jewelry
Rings, watches, bracelets, fitness trackers, or other hand and wrist jewelry must be removed before using the pole.
Even small scratches can damage the finish of the pole, affecting grip, performance, and the experience of future users.
4. Cleaning & Maintenance
Pole equipment requires specific cleaning procedures and products.
-
Only approved cleaning supplies may be used.
-
Using the wrong spray, disinfectant, cleaner, or cloth can permanently damage the finish.
-
The pole must be cleaned appropriately during and after use.
Please do not clean the pole unless instructed by a coach.
5. Respect the Equipment
This is professional-grade equipment and represents a significant investment.
-
Do not swing on, hang from, adjust, loosen, tighten, or modify the pole.
-
Do not attach bands, rings, straps, ropes, or other equipment to the pole.
-
Do not use the pole as a support structure for other training activities.
-
No grip aids, chalk, rosin, lotions, or products on the pole unless approved by the coach.
6. Removable Installation
The pole is fully removable and can be taken down in approximately two minutes using specialized tools. If the space is required for other activities, the pole may occasionally be removed and stored.
We will be installing a protective cover when the pole is not in use.
